Coaching for Coaches
Newly qualified and new to the business of coaching?
You may have recently finished your coaching course, or be coming the the end and realising it’s time to think about how you’re going to make your new business a success. Being an excellent, intuitive, well trained coach is super important. As is being able to make a living doing what you’re good at and love. Business skills and coaching skills need to go hand in hand if you’re going to make a proper living and not everyone has a natural mind for business. I’ve been coaching for over 15 years and still love every moment. It’s an enormous privilege to work with all sorts of people and gain insight into the challenges and successes along the way.
Gain skills to ensure your coaching business is a success
From deciding your niche (or not!) and who you want to work with to having a marketing plan to get the word out there and start working, the business side of coaching has to be a focus. Too many coaches train to a high standard, only to find it hugely challenging finding clients. You’ve invested in the training, so it’s worth making sure you recoup your investment quickly. This means being proactive in your networking and making sure your message is clear.

In addition to coaching, I am director of other businesses and have a background in marketing, so I am able to share this knowledge and experience with you.
Thinking of training as a coach?
As with any training, it is no small investment, so being sure that it is something you want to do and will enjoy is pretty important. Making sure you are clear about how you are going to make it work, who you want to work with is vital. Planning ahead makes all the difference. Get clear on how your business will run and what this means for you. Get support during training with any challenges and questions. When you compete your coaching course, you will be clear on what you need to do to hit the ground running. It can be a lonely place, setting up on your own, so having a coach to hold you accountable makes a world of difference.
